Kansas City native Steve Sterner began performing and writing songs in the 1970’s while in college. Life & business

Northern Lights is Steve’s debut album on Enneagram records. It is a collection of songs mostly written in
the last 5 years, although, “Time is Still Turning” was the second song ever written by Steve, around 1971.
The CD is sprinkled with love songs, (”The One Like You” and “Northern Lights”) and
some family history (“Picture” is a song about an uncle who was killed in WWII, and “The River Kept a Risin’ “ tells the story of the 1951 Kansas & Missouri River flood). The CD also includes a
bit of whimsy with “I Once Was A Pirate”.
